As I am losing weight I am finding that I like shoes! I want to buy them all! I saw these and just had to have them. They were pumps, how bad could they be? I have a few pairs of pumps that I can wear all day to work or events and not die, but they are super boring.
I ordered them from DSW and they came yesterday...
These are not pumps, no way! These are way higher than any pump I have worn, I don't think I can wear these! How do I know when a high heeled shoe fits? They are a 7W which should be good, the back feels good, doesn't slip, but my toes feel squished. I imagine that is just gravity - no matter what size they are my feet are going to push forward, right?
HELP!! I want to be a real lady and wear big girl shoes but I don't know how! Is this something I can learn?

I can't help you because I don't wear high heels. I think there are a lot of pretty shoes that don't hurt to wear.
Very cute but I couldn't walk in them...my limit is 2-3 inches with a platform! If squishing then it would be gravity/pressure.
Good luck on the hunt!
Cole Haan makes great comfy shoes!
I am the same as Nella. 2-3 inch heal and mostly I wear wedges or platforms.
I'm in the same boat as you at the moment...my old sensible work shoes finally went to the shoe graveyard and I went off to buy something a little more feminine...with a heel! I die in heels, but I tried some on that were quite comfy and I also bought a pair of heeled boots for winter as my ugly sensible boots had also had their day (& then some). OMG, there is a difference between wearing them in the shop and wearing them all day at work! If they are uncomfy to try on - forget it- you'll be crippled wearing them all day! but I have to say, I have gone a little shoe mad now. It must be the new more feminine us emerging from our cacoons.
I've just had an email to say my new leopard print kitten heels are being delivered in the next 2 days...see what I mean? Shoe mad (I'm hoping the kitten heel will be a more comfy, but feminine alternative to the full heel). OMG, can't wait to try them on!
you can get those foot petal thingys. they keep my feet from sliding down into the toe area.
Okay so first off you look incredible and I'm super jealous of your red hair. I've always wanted to be a red head, love it! =)
If you heals dont slip out I would say they are the right size...but your toes shouldnt hurt...a little squish is ok they should stretch a little but maybe they are too small if your toes start to kill you
