Take It Out NOW!

I had a good birthday, my husband and I went out Saturday night and celebrated.  Here is a pic of me toasting to all of you...

Cheers to all of my Blogger Friends!

Other than that, it was pretty low key due to my gall bladder issues.  Unfortunaltey last night I had an even worst attack and was up all night with terrible pain.  Eventually I decided to take two percocets around 2 am to at least let me sleep.  There was no way I was going to the ER again - this time they would take the gall bladder out for sure!  I am really set on having my surgeon complete the procedure, just one more week and this will be done.  I do have to be extremely careful for the rest of this week, because I can not have another attack - I am not to be taking anything other than Extra Strength Tylenol since my surgery is so close due to thinning of the blood.  I will let them know on Friday that I took them just in case they have any concerns.

I have an appointment for Friday to be completely emptied, ugh.  I am a little nervous about this - does this mean that I have to start all over again?  Like, while they are in there and everything is done - will they put what they took out back in or will I have to get like 3 cc's and then build back up?

No sign of 199, but I don't really care.  Isn't that strange?  I don't feel like I am focused on my band right now.  Especially after hearing that I will be wide open on Friday for who knows how long.  I think a part of me thinks that if I had made it to 199 today, I might not have counted it.  I think there is a chance that I could gain a little during the time that I am getting back to restriction.  Just the though of gaining makes me sad - even if it is a little...

I hope you make it to your surgery without having to endure another attack. I've been there and done that and hated it.

I actually waited to have my surgery as well because I was a lot younger and wanted my mom to be there with me. I ate egg whites and drank a bazillion glasses of water in hopes of making it to the surgery table without having another attack.

I had mine out waaay before my band was placed but there are several other bandsters out on blogland that have gone through this the same as you...

You look so pretty -- love the photo! Happy b-day! :) I hope that the gallbladder surgery goes well.

I am sure that the prospect of an unfill is scary, but am hopeful it won't set you back much, if at all. Onederland will be there for you once you fix the gallbladder problem! :)

Sorry you are going through this. Hopefully it will be over soon and you will be able to refocus on the band. If it's any consolation, you look great. : ) Cheers to you and Happy Birthday.

My best friend who doesn't have a band just had her gall bladder out and lost 15 pounds in 3 weeks,so, think of that. Don't sweat the unfill, just concentrate on feeling better. Sending good vibes your way, hang in there!

good luck in holding out for your surgeon and also good luck with the transition back to restriction. It should go much quicker this time because you have a benchmark to start at this time.

You are looking great by the way!!

I hope you had a great birthday - you look great!
I had an unfill last December I had a lot in my band at the time (9.75cc's) and when they were sure everything was good they put 8 back in and then we went from there. So hopefully they'll put you close back to where you were.

You just have the most beautiful hair!

I hope you don't have anymore attacks until your surgeon gets to you...good luck with it and just do your best with the eating that's all you can do till this is all fixed up. You'll be back to full restriction before you know it. xx

We are gallbladder twins...almost! I am having mine removed on the 25th. I haven't had any other attacks though and have been completely unfilled for like 2 weeks and eating terribly (I only have the attacks when I eat healthy or low cal/low fat). Anyway, I am looking fwd to having some restriction again. Wishing you the best of luck with your surgery!
