Sad Little Puppy....

I gained a pound last week - this doesn't happen often, but when it does - IT SUCKS!  The worst part is that I didn't take it off this week - it's still there.  Booooooo!  I was only 5 lbs away from 199 - now I am 6 away, yuck...

However, I do have some good news to report - I did my measurements Saturday nd I have lost a total of 26 inches - that's good right?  I don't know really what the average should be for inches, but it sounds good to me.  I want to post progress pics sometime this week, too...

Onto the subject of my angry gallbladder:  I had an endoscopy yesterday because Dr. Ren can look at my band and make sure everything is okay.  She seem to be a little concerned about why my band is so sensitive to fills.  The place I went to will send the results back to her sometime this week - I hope.  The doctor who completed the procedure did tell me that I have damage on my esophagus from acid and that I need to go back on the acid reflux meds.  Great.

I am in desperate need of a fill right now.  It's so strange how quickly things change, just a little over a week ago I saw Gasper and we both agreed I was at a good restriction level!  Well, let me tell you - things have changed!  I can eat a whole wrap sandwich - wrap and all!  I can also eat a turkey sandwich from Lenny's - if you are from NYC you know how big their sandwiches are.  It's on toasted whole wheat bread, not a roll, but still.  Crazy!  And I know that just because I CAN doesn't mean that I SHOULD - but I DO.  I SUCK.  I can't get in to see Dr. Ren until they have the results of the endoscopy, UGH...

That is all.

Gall bladder problems suck! Been there, done that, had it out lol.
Hope it improves soon. And yeah, gaining a touch of weight does bite, but hey, you will lose it again. No doubt about it!

Hang in there! You will lose those pesky 6 lbs in no time! Get healthy first! And hey, we all wouldn't be in the band group if we didn't eat the things/quantities that we eat! We know we shouldn't but something in our brain tells us it is ok! We are all screwed! lol! Hang in there sad pup!

Oh those fun tests! I take Nexium everyday because of acid - I figure it's a small price to pay for the weight loss.
Don't sweat eating more- if we could control ourselves we wouldn't have gotten the band.

Ugh! See, I'm totally scared of the acid damage. Take those meds, and google some other acid reducing tips. I read to stay away from tomatoes and other acidic food like oranges. My co-worker also says that chocolate is bad for acid. I do not like this theory!

Sorry you are having problems and also that you're feeling a little out of control. Stay calm it'll all get sorted soon.

Did you have problem with acid reflux at any time when your fill was tight? Just checking cause my fill is tight and I don't want to be doing damage but have no symptoms.
